This is small boxy print/slide/negative scanner.

Except mine is an earlier version, but looks exactly the same.

None of the obvious cleaning surfaces are accessible without taking
the thing apart.  Just wondered if anyone has done it on this unit
and if there's spring waiting to go "boing", when you remove the
cover :-)

I asked about cleaning, because I do not want to waste much time
doing test scans, if the optics are fuzzy from several years of oil
film.
