I also use the pads (since they're stocked right next to the bottles of
PEC-12 and therefore easy to grab at the same time :-) but I've also used
2"x2" gun patches when I ran out. They work fairly well but are much
smaller. Come to think of it, they're also much cheaper than the PEC pads.
Maybe I should pick up a big bag of 12ga shotgun patches next time they're
on sale.
