According to my info (which certainly could be incorrect, the Power Look 
3000 has two lenses, supplying the following optical resolutions:

Lens 1: 1220 x 3048 dpi for up to 8.5" x 11.7"
Lens 2: 3048 x 3048 dpi for up to 3.4" x 11.7"

So, in reflective terms it is for all manners, a 1220 dpi optical 
scanner, as you state.
