[filmscanners] Re:Using dICE with glass carriers (was: Depth of Focus)

As has been discussed by myself and others in previous postings, a glass
carrier has other problems. Glass is not always optically pure either
in color or it transmission, and it adds 4 other surfaced to keep clean.

However, this raises another issue as well, that perhaps Jack from ASF
can address.

Is there any effect upon the use of dICE with a glass carrier? Also, if
there is dust, dirt, scratches on the outer glass surfaces, can dICE
effectively remove these problems?
