Thanks for the help on this.  My computer is running on Windows XP Home Edition 
with a P3 (I believe 1GHz) and 512 of RAM.  The 2 Firewire cards were just Plug 
'n Play with no additional drivers installed.  How does one approach checking 
the software/hardware?
