[filmscanners] RE: Scanning map question



Tom,

I've done pretty well with maps that size shooting on Polaroid 55 and
scanning the neg (for B&W obviously). Especially if you are only printing up
to 13x19 - are you using and artixscan or an epson for the scanning?

(I've also photographed on 4x5 colour neg and had a wet print made of a map
that's about 48" for museum display and that worked well too...)

I've also done the scan in sections and stitch and it's a pain in the butt.
