To take the covers off the ss120 you will need to :
1 Undo the one screw at the bottom of the front bezel then gently unhook
from the top. Do not undo any wires.
2 Undo the 6 screws at the bottom of the scanner that hold the aluminum
cover
3 Undo the 2 screws at the top of the back bezel.
4 Gently slide the aluminum cover forward to uncover the internals of the
scanner.
5 Using the on / off bottom of the front bezel (still attached) position the
carrier so you can have access to the mirror and lens.

Reverse the procedure to put everything back.
Before you go through this procedure though make sure that your
negatives/positives are not the cause of any spots. Any dirt on the mirrors
will be out of focus and should not be causing spots.

Does anyone know how to clean a Polaroid SS120? In other words, how to
actually take it apart? I'm getting tired of spotting, and I know my
negatives aren't that dirty.....

Thanks,
