There at least used to be such websites that discussed CD-R testing, I
haven't looked recently.

I believe I've read that temperature may also a factor in CD-R storage
(some lofts can get quite hot).  I'd make sure they are not getting
cooked, not only might the dyes be harmed over time, but I suppose they
could warp.
