[filmscanners] RE: CD RW Problem



Thanks to all, I think I have got the message - Kodak CD-R's and CD Direct
will be my future choices.  I have 40-year-old negatives and chromes that
are still in great shape.  I wonder how usable the digital media will be in
40 years?   Not that it will make any difference to me but my great grand
kids might get a kick out of the "old pictures".  John

okay, i should read the posts properly (I'm having the same discussion on
another list...)

DON'T use CD-RW'S  for long term storage - full stop. they won't last at
all - as well all the cd direct stuff is correct.

use only high quality cd-r's
