[filmscanners] Closing: Re: OT: Film processing costs(WAS: Re: Prints from scans ...are there reallydifferences any more?)



Hi Anthony,

As Brian suggested, we'd better close this extremely OT thread. Your views 
on the Europeans are interesting but may be somewhat biaised (especially if 
you thought that we all were paying $9 for processing).

Regarding your question, the prices I quoted are a pro lab, two-hour 
processing in Barcelona; if you can wait 5 hours the cost drops to 2.40 
(neg) or 2.70 euro (slide) (plus 16% TVA). Being pro myself I get 10% 
discount on these prices, and several other professional labs in Barcelona 
are charging similar fees. There should be similar price ranges available 
everywhere, even in Paris.
