[filmscanners] Re: Minolta Scan Multi Pro
Having just received a Scan Multi Pro. I have noticed a problem in transfer
rates of the scanned image.
If I use the Minolta utility as a stand along program the scan is transferred
to a file in about 10
seconds.
Yet if I use the Twain driver plugin through Photoshop 6 the transfer and
opening of the scan is 2
minutes.
XP / SCSI P#800 768M ram (95M tif scan).
( I have XP and considered using W2K but after the discussion each are on par
with each other.)
Just seems way out of proportion the transfer rates - I can scan to file them
open it in PShop quicker
than through the PShop/ twain setup.
Is this normal for this scanner/PS combi as this was not as noticeable with
the LS2000
Would appreciate any comments or setup problems associated.
