On the Polaroid web site there are workarounds for this involving first
installing Insight 5.0 which XP apparently recognizes and then upgrading to
the latest version of Insight. This does not work for the SS4000Plus, as the
drivers for this were not in 5.0. So I couldn't guarantee that the 4000
will work with your system, but based on prior posts that I have read in this
newsgroup it seems like it certainly should work, with the caveat of possibly
requiring this workaround.

By the way, I was contacted by Polaroid, and they said to feel free to share
this with the group,....there should be some type of XP drivers (not clear to
me if these are officially Microsoft XP sanctioned drivers or a different XP
'workaround' solution) for the SS 4000 Plus available on the website the week
of 5/3.
