My understanding is that the Home and Pro version are extremely similar in
all respects except for the ability to do networking, which is more advanced
in the pro version.  The home version has system restore as well.

As an aside, the SS 4000 Plus will work on Windows 2000 but not on XP, so it
is not necessarily the case that 2000 drivers always work for XP, though
many, if not most, do.
