Looked at both these and in the eyes and hair /flowers skin - at the same size 
both show
different qualities. the grain does show up in lighter/skin  areas but dark 
areas like the
eye there is far more detail.

Will have a Minolta by next Tuesday and see then. Acceptability of the scan is 
the ultimate
test.
