All you need to do is to type the full path name of photoshp.exe (the
program that launches Photoshop) in the Viewer filed under the Prefs tab in
VueScan. For example, if you use the default settings:
C:\Programs\Photoshop 6.0\Photoshp.exe/ You also need to put a check in the
External viewer box just above the Viewer field. That'll do it.

I always have the scans open in VueScan when I'm using it.
