Re: filmscanners: Custom ICC printer profiles

I gave Epson the fixed profiles 18 months ago. I NEVER received a response.
When I asked a few folk in the know with them they asked me why would Epson
fix a good thing <g>. Think of the paper and ink sales they would loose if
they fixed the problem :-0

The only issue with the Epson generic profiles for the 1200 and 750 was the
gamma - nothing else differ from any other generic Epson profile. I wrote
this over two years ago and was told that I was off my head - looks like the
Asylum did me wonders :-0

The fixed 1200 and 750 profiles have been available from my site for nearly
two years and have been downloaded 1000's of times. In march this in a fit
of anger (yes me too) I even went as far as renaming them EXACTLTY as Epson
do so that the folk downloading them didn't badger me about why they
couldn't find them.

These are DIRECT replacements for the generic Epson PC profile. They are NOT
media profiles and they are NOT perfect - you use them EXACTTLY as you do
the current profiles - except the degree of slider adjustment should be
SUBSTANTIALLY less.
