Yes, yes and yes :)

I use these excellent films a lot, and anomalous highlight excess
cyan/blue is an occasional problem. However it is not a scanning artefact,
it can appear in C41 prints too, though much less noticeably. The
additional cyan layer seems to sometimes get a bit out of kilter.

In the scan histogram, you'll see a massive blue channel spike right up at
the highlight end.

This can be corrected by a combination of white point setting and white
balance. See the msg I posted earlier about using the PS highlight levels
dropper set to a preset value.

Vuescan and Binuscan are less prone to exaggerate the problem than most
scanning s/w because they can dynamically correct white balance.

Grain from these films is excellent and very low, but you may get aliasing
with your Canon which suggests otherwise. I use Superia 400 as my standard
general-purpose film, and with a SS4000, A4 prints look almost grain free
though compared with 100 there's a slight loss of sharpness and tonal
refinement. Sup400 is not far away from being a colour equivalent
of XP2/Tmax400CN, amazing stuff compared to colour neg of just a few years
ago.
