Here are a few images from the 5400 II

The jpg has it's angle adjusted. The "crop" image does not have the
angle adjusted, so whatever lines you believe are there will be
horizontal. The "levels" image moves the right slider towards the left
to brighten the dark area. You can obviously do this on your own.

Scan done at full resolution. If the lines are there, I don't believe
they are very distinct. Perhaps banding, but you need to crank up the
levels to see it if it's really there.
