[filmscanners] RE: Scanner for contact sheets



I just plonk neg sheets on the 8x10 tranny bed of my cheap/used Umax
Powlerlook III - gives pretty nice "contact sheets"  (main use for the
powerlook is 8x10 film). These can either be printed out, or viewed on the
screen as sheets (but not individual images) it automate individual frames
like the Epson

At work we use the more expensive Epson 1680 to do the same, but there isn't
much difference.
