[filmscanners] RE: FS2710/WinXP




Once you installed the APSI drivers ther is no problem anymore. Even Windows
XP does recognize it. When you look at the hardware setup you can see a
driver is added for the CanoScan FS2710. Afterwards, make sure you select
the input device with the CanCraft FS Configuration utility and all is done.
I just did the same thing last week when installing XP on my new system!

Thanks Bert.  I'm well familiar with Vuescan, as I've been using it
for quite a while.  I'll look into ASPI.  Good to know I can do this!
I've heard of so many problems with XP, I wasn't sure.  I never use
the Canoscan s/w.
