David - Your comments correspond to my "intuition" and I have indeed
been very careful to only redraw one or two edges at a time lately and
it seems to be working.  Hard to tell if that's it, though, and it
sure is s-l-o-o-w working this way!  Ugh.  I'll try that .ini trick,
thanks.
