Austin, I find your above statement to be quite interesting.

Have you ever actually experienced a full rez scan of a negative on the
Minolta Scan Multi Pro?  If so, please describe what you saw *with* and
especially *without* ICE.

Meanwhile, we dasn't forget that the Minolta light source is reported to be
of the "cold" variety, (non-LED), which allegedly fosters cleaner scans.
