A 'fundamentally misconceived production system', maybe. The hallmark of 
such a system should be an absolute minimum of apps to accomplish a 
specific, dedicated purpose. It is simply less to go wrong, and easier to 
fix and upgrade. 

The amount of stuff you have on yours sounds as eclectic as the sacrificial 
kids machine downstairs, and that's a can of worms only amenable to format 
c:
