Subject: filmscanners: Getting started question

[snipped]

| 1. Should I be using cheap film/processing during this learning phase or
is
| this a bad thing which will cause me to develop bad habits?

This does not matter at all. If you are satisfied with the film and
processing as a whole, then it is 100% satisfactory for scanning.

| 2.Should I be sticking to a single film and learning how to use it and
then
| moving on to other etc.?

This is a personal decision for you, depending on your personal learning
program. AFAIC it does not matter at all.

Maris
