[filmscanners] Re: Nikon Scan 4



I suspect the whole issue is much simpler. :-)
Even according to Nikon Support - the lost of instant Analog Gain
preview was somehow related to alternation of the original (system's
default) preview pan window in their software, that's all.
They admit that fact, advised me to get the preview's window size back
to its original, otherwise just reinstall the software.

As to the gain amount - I did not notice any relation to teh actual
amoutn of gain to be altered - I did 0.1 down to almost maximum in
eitehr direction and lots of in-between - once having instant preview
it does it, once not having it it rescans anyway.
