[filmscanners] Re: distortion correction

You could try lensdoc from andromeda.com There is a demonstration, and you
can try it on one of your own images to see how it works.

It can also fix perspective and rotation at the same time, and then it
automatically crops the image to a rectangle. It can be customized to the
curvature of specific lenses, but I'm happy with the adjustments from the
standard setup. It works on both PC and Mac.

JASC's Paint Shop Pro 8 offers those features but it's
written for Win XP. Check their website www.jasc.com for
details. I'm sure there are others.

Is there any programme which can correct barrel distortion
etc from wide angle digital images? preferably for the Mac
but maybe capable of running in Virtual PC.
