To be clear what I said, or at least meant to say : CMYK may be of little
concern or obvious use to anyone working at home and outputting only on
screen or via their inkjet, but!!!!!!!! if you are working on stuff which
is destined for press use, you had better have some understanding of it,
and if you are handling all the prepress stuff it is essential. I for one
would strongly disagree that it is wasted space in PS, or in any sense
irrelevant.
