[filmscanners] Drum scan oil

Ok. Just had some transparencies back from a client that had them drum
scanned and they all have that oil coating that's used;

How can I clean them up? I want to scan the images myself but they are in
too bad of a state; I assume there must be some type of cleaning solution?

Thanks in advance
Craig
