[filmscanners] RE: NikonScan doesn't see my LS-4000ED



I'm not sure that that's true. For instance, ATAPI is the SCSI command set
over an IDE interface, and I believe that the ASPI layer is used to talk to
ATAPI devices like CD burners. It's entirely possible that FireWire uses the
same SCSI command set as well, and needs ASPI. But that's only an educated
guess.
