I've a lowly CI-5000s printer, and installed that program into XP. I haven't
tried "real film", but it
seemed to work okay as far as I can tell (goes through the senting-to-printer
motion, with
printer blinking "properly", etc). I'm still re-installing other things (doing
a clean rebuild)
and will test with real-film (I've exposed film in it to have it not complain
about film
being missing). I installed it and set its .EXE's compatibility setting to
Windows NT (if I recall correctly,
it was one of the things I tested first to make sure it worked in XP). I didn't
try executing
it before setting the compatibility mode. Have you tried that already?
