  "Satisfactory" ... yes.  It all depends on where an 11x17 is intended.
For example, it could be argued ^most^ 11x17's are not meant to be examined
closely ... but rather to be on a wall for effect, ambiance, mood (etc).
But scanning at 2700ppi implies printing 11" at ~240ppi ... this is
satisfactory, but many will tell you it's below the capabilities of a
printer like the 1270/80, the 2000P, which may show clear differences on
glossy papers at 300ppi ... and some would advise 360ppi.
