Be aware about the scanner voltage 110/220; be aware that also some local 
representatives will NOT recognize the warranty and you will have to shop the 
scanner somewhere else if you have later on a technical problem (ceck this 
locally first!).

I am located in Italy and I saw this kind of issues before!
