filmscanners: Imacon Question
We are now seriously considering buying a used Imacon. We would have gone with
a used Scitex Eversmart
(cheaper), but the actual size of it is an issue in our too small NYC
apartment. Anyway, after reading quite
a few posts about the Imacon (and other ccd film scanners) there seems to be a
lot of variation in the quality
of these machines, on a per machine basis.
So our question is: Are we asking for trouble by purchasing a used Imacon, as
it could be one of the
'problematic' ones?
