Dan is a genius in my mind, and may know more about color correcting, and
image enhancement in PS than anybody, but he is for experienced users in my
opinion. I started to read him, and was enjoying it, but it was not
sticking. I put him down, read Real World, and now Dan is easier to
comprehend.

Definitely a great book, but definitely should not be your *first* PS book.
