you'll note that an ETA of 3/30/01 is given under the availability heading.
Since Canon has not listed the scanner yet in its product list, I assume
it's not out yet. I've heard it will be available  in late May, early June.

I'm eagerly awaiting this scanner, but like most prospective buyers I don't
want be a heavy-duty beta tester. It'll be interesting see how much Canon
has learned from Polaroid and Nikon.
