Hello everybody,
I have found a lot of useful information on this great list in
the past few weeks since I joined. However I have not purchased a film-scanner
yet, but will definitely do so in the very near future. My choice is down to the
LS-30 but the place I went to order one said that Nikon Germany does not deliver
them anymore because they have
depleted the whole old stock before the LS-40 comes out
sometimes in march. No more back-orders from Japan, they said. (No idea if it is
true or not, though)
They have a LS 2000 there (a really awesome machine...),
already reduced by some 25% but still somehow out of reach...
Anyhow, I will be visiting Tokyo in about four weeks from now.
Should I go looking for a scanner there or are prices way too high (exchange
rate German-mark to Yen is not the best to say it mildly.) Maybe someone from
this list can tell me more? Thank you very much,
