I can't answer that as I don't believe I have ever printed from a .PSD file, 
always from TIFF or JPEG which I use as archive formats, where of course layers 
have all been merged down. Anyhow, I'm still on PS5. It does sound as if 
there's something squiffy with PS printing either from PSD or maybe just PSD 
with multiple layers. Are you sure you had all layers turned on? How are you 
handling profiles with this operation?
