The Pacific Coast PrimeFilm 1800... I've only heard of one or two people who 
haven't taken theirs straight back to the dealer and paid the extra for a 
better scanner. Like the Tamarack/Jenoscan, at this price point there are 
significant quality compromises which can disappoint. Most people seem to think 
the extra for the Acer Scanwit is worthwhile. This is all hearsay though, I 
haven't tested any of them personally.

The Primefilm 1800 is the basis of the Kodak RFS3600, BTW.
