One of the weaknesses of the ICE algorithms (and there are
several) is that they're scanner dependant.  VueScan's algorithms
aren't.

The ICE algorithms also don't work with Kodachrome, VueScan's
algorithm works well with Kodachrome.

No, it's with respect to a few parameters in my cleaning
algorithm.  These are scanner-independant and film-independant
parameters.
