Popular Photography is published monthly in the USA by Hachett Filipachi
Magazines. There was one conclusion in the article that seemed
counter-intuitive: after noting that CD-RW recorders typically record faster
to CD-R media than to CD-RW media, it went on to say "On the other hand many
experts prefer CD-R media for long storage because of its reliability and
lower price." Shouldn't the phase-change media in the RW disk be more stable
that the dyes in the R-only disk? I guess the answer is no, but it would be
interesting to see comments from people who record CD disks every day.

Thanks.

Bruce
