filmscanners: Epson 1640 Transparency Holders

Sorry if this has come up before, I swear I saw a reference to this but
can't find it...

Can someone describe the 1640's transaprency unit? I.e., how many
strips/frames of 35mm and 120 can I do at one time?

Also, I thought I remember the 120 adapter isn't really set up for
6x4.5. Is this true?
