No not me either, it is something I have been meaning to do for a long
time, but ... not yet.  But skies give me a good clue, I can definitely say
that skies printed from negs are (for me) grainier than skies printed from
slides.

Yes, but either GEM or NeatImage can clean this up quite nicely, albeit at a
humongous cost in CPU time. (NeatImage takes 25 minutes for a 645 scan on a
2.2 GHz PC. Sigh.)
