[filmscanners] Re: Switch from Win98SE to XP?

Tomek,

It doesn't crash when programs do funny things. If you are happy with Win98
crashing every now and again, don't upgrade. But if you would like an OS
that seems to be able to cope with whatever faults your programs have, then
switch to XP. System Restore is brilliant for enabling one to cope with
stupid things that some program installations do.

Bob Frost.

Is there any advantage in upgrading from Win 98SE to Win XP Home Edition
regarding filmscanning and dealing with large files and using Photoshop?
Better management of high amount of RAM, for example? Anything else?
