I'll certainly second that.  If you really want a 35mm slide that puts your
scanner to the test, shoot one with the Apo-Summicron 1:2/90 ASPH, on a
tripod.  Even handheld it is stunning; I've seen it reach the limits of my
Provia slide emulsions handheld, upon examination under a microscope.

I'm not sure what the MF equivalent would be, quality-wise.  Certainly
anything made by Zeiss for Hasselblad is going to be a worthy opponent to
Leica glass, but what would the equivalent of the aforementioned
Apo-Summicron be on a Hasselblad?  The Superapochromatic lenses sound great,
but I've never tried one.
