[filmscanners] Re: Of Newton Rings and other things



I hope your choice works well for you.  I think there is a learning
curve with any of these devices, and you develop technique as you use it.

Yes, the calibration slide should have come with the scanner, at least
it did with the SS4000+ versions, so I assume it should as well with
that one.

I imagine there will be word soon regarding Polaroid.  The main hunk of
the company was just bought by an investment bank.  This should mean the
scanner division gets auctions soon.  Of course, the Courts could come
in and alter the plans, but I think they will approve.
