In which case you had better prepare yourself never to make a decision on
any capital purchase- including washing machines, fridges and vacum
cleaners, not to mention cars, cameras, hi-fi and condoms (:-)

The monitor calibration is a question to be asked.  I did notice that the
Imacon scan was almost exactly the same colours as the original slide.

I know that as soon as I make a decision a new scanner will appear and start
me off on the whole decision process again!
