Howdy, list folk:

There's been a bit of discussion on film grain and the use of ICE.

Recently, I bought a Minolta Scan Multi Pro. (I had a Nikon 8000ED but
exchanged it for the Minolta). I made a few scans with the Scan Multi Pro.
"With ICE" and "Without ICE" versions. 6x6 color negative. (Kodak Portra
160NC)

I've just put these scans up on a webpage. Thought maybe I'd
"kill-two-birds-with-one-stone". These scans might be helpful to folks who
are interested in how this unit does with color negatives.

Secondly, I would appreciate your feedback on how the Minolta scans look re:
grain. To me, they seem more grainy than the Nikon 8000ED. Am I being
overly critical? Do they seem normal for 3200 ppi?
The unit is basically brand new. Just trying to decide whether to keep it -
or sell it.

Thanks for your input.
