How about 4.2 Dmax, 14 bits/channel, 48 -bit color, Firewire connectivity, and
SilverFast
5.5.? Perhaps it is incremental; the only real breakthrough I know of recently
is the
Foveon sensor. But the improvements seemed significant enough to me that I
chose the 4000
Plus easily over the Nikon 4000ED, and so far I am completely happy with my
choice and the
results I am getting.
