RE: filmscanners: Sprintscan 4000 and Firewire/scsi adapter Anyone get this working under any version of Windows?

Ron,

We have done some testing and know the Microtech does NOT work reliability. The most compatible is the Adaptec but for the PC I STRONGLY recommend you purchase a inexpensive SCSI card such as the Adaptec 2906.

I have been unable to get my Sprintscan 4000 to work with Microtech Firewire/scsi adapter. Have tried Winows 98se and Windows 2000. No joy. If anyone can help it would be great!  Thank you.
