filmscanners: Provia 400 F - Test to make you weep

With this recent talk that brought up the subject of Provia 400F, I thought
I'd link to this:

http://www.luminous-landscape.com/iso100-400.htm

teehee - unless you're printing to 13x19 or larger, I suppose... but then do
you *only* care about sharpness/resolution?

Oh and as I'm in linx mood, try:

http://www.normankoren.com/Tutorials/MTF2.html - Norman Koran's page
"Resolution and MTF curves in scanners and sharpening"

http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=001bm2 - "2500 vs 4000
dpi film scanners. Difference in final prints?"

http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=001cXl - "Scanner
Resolution: What Does DPI Really Mean?"

Should keep you all quiet for the weekend!

Jawed
